One in 10 people over the age of 60 living at home is likely to suffer abuse, neglect or exploitation

For every one case of elder abuse that is reported, an estimated 23 are unreported

The Elder Justice Foundation is a new philanthropy whose mission is to reduce elder abuse and enhance justice for America’s growing older population.

By providing support in the form of grants, the Foundation seeks to expand the capacity of professionals, policy-makers, educators and the public to prevent and address elder abuse in more informed, meaningful and effective ways.
